Power to detect differences in allele frequencies between two samples at P = 0.05. Since the power depends on the sample sizes of the two populations, we fixed one population at a sample size of n, while allowing another population to vary in sample sizes. Δ f is a frequency difference between the sample of given size n and the samples of various sizes. A – n = 50; B – n = 1,800.
