Segregation of campesterol (panel A), its metabolite, campestanol (panel B), the metabolite of sitosterol, sitostanol (panel C), or total plant sterols (panel D) are as shown. In all cases, except for sitostanol, the homozygous F2 rats had significantly elevated levels (* P < 0.05).
